The yearly retreat is held at La Case de Maria in Montecito, California, during the late February to early March period. "La Casa" provides a serene location surrounded by rich and varied gardens, orchards, and forests. The nearly 4000' Santa Ynez Mountains lie to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south (The coastline twists from north-south to west-east here!). Los Angeles' LAX airport is a lovely two hour drive to the south (train and air service to Santa Barbara) and Santa Barbara is fifteen minutes to the north. The weather is inviting, be it chilly or warm. The retreat center has a rich history of serving the spiritual needs of diverse communities.
