SMOLUUC has enjoyed excellent programming in the past.  Notable presenters have been Dale Galloway (successful large church evangelical minister),  Diana Butler Bass (Vital Congregations, Alban),  Fred Garcia (Media Training, UUA) to name only a few.  The Program Team is charged with the task of finding programs that would be meaningful to the unique challenges of serving a large church in the Unitarian Universalist Association.  In addition to programming, we typically enjoy some unstructured time.  Golf, a hike up the mountain (about 1.5 hour round trip), touring local gardens, taking a wine-tasting tour through wine country, walking on the beach or shopping in downtown Santa Barbara are all ways to find some much needed rest and relaxation.
