A Mentoring Program has been established to match ministers in transitional congregations with an experienced minister of a large congregation.

The Mentor Coordinator has the following responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain a list of transitional congregations;
2. ensure that such a list is posted on pass-word protected website
3. serve as the primary contact for those ministers in transition who are interested in receiving a mentor
4. solicit members from within SMOLUUC to serve as mentors, taking note of their special abilities and skills for mentoring
