The criteria for membership in SMOLUUC are simple. You must be the Senior Minister* of the congregation and your Unitairian Universalist congregation must meet two of the three following benchmarks:

Membership: 600 or more members reported to the UUA (assumes there is attention paid to removing inactive members from our lists!)
Annual Budget: $400,000 (either US or CDN)
Pledges to the Annual Fund Drive: 400 pledging units

If your congregation meets the criteria, you are encouraged to investigate your participation in one of the SMOLUUC annual retreats. If you are not sure about your status, contact the Director for Large Congregations, meet with a minister of a large congregation near you, and/or read through this web site.

Membership information: Retired Members, Interim Ministers, Mentor Program, List Serve, Removal from Membership

*In the case of team ministries and co-ministries, both ministers must be recognized as equal by the congregation and have the same salary and benefit package.
