Covenant

At the February 26th, 2000 - March 2nd, 2000 retreat of SMOLUUC at La Casa de Maria in Montecito, California, a covenant was developed and, in a closing ceremony, signed by all present.

Members were asked to come forward and sign the covenant in the order of longevity in the group.

Since that time all new mmbers have been invited to sign the covenant.

Over the years, many UU ministers have been a part of SMOLUUC benefitting from its retreat programs, collegiality, continuing education, and service to the larger movement. Each of the signatories has taken their pledge seriously and SMOLUUC has grown to be an important part of their lives, the lives of their congregations, and a full partner in the wider movement.
